Who's your favorite for the race for president 2012?

On the dem side the obvious favorite is Obama who I can't say I would ever vote for. I won't be entirely surprised if another dem tries to make a run.. at this point they might have a chance. If someone did, I would listen to what they have to say and go from there.

As far as the republican side goes, the ones I am most interested in at this point is Perry (being not very religious that's one thing I don't care for about him) and Herman Cain. Perry has been successful running TX and has did things to help create jobs. Some say "well there are a lot of minimum wage jobs".. which may be true... but they are still jobs, not everyone gets to be CEO. Cain is a successful business man and might just be what Washington needs right now. His lack of political experience could be a plus or hindrance.. we shall see. I'm not overly crazy about Romney.. just get the feeling that he's a republican version of Obama.. Bachman isn't doing much for me either, she's just to, I don't know, not what I want for a president. Ron Paul has a some good ideas but his foreign policy is so so at best. In the debate last week in Iowa, he seemed to be defending Iran who is obviously ran by crazy people in regards to the nuclear program and tried to compare them to Russia. Russia who obviously had Nukes, was like the USA, we had them as a deterrent... with Iran, they would use them regardless of it meant millions of their own people died.

Anyway, what are your thoughts?

Paul Ryan is an incrementalist when compared to Ron Paul on the budget.  If you recall, Ron Paul voted against the Ryan plan and had this as his official statement==

"The Ryan Budget was a step in the right direction, but it still adds trillions of dollars to the national debt and would run deficits for years to come. America faces a crisis and we have to balance our budget now, not ten or 20 years down the road. (I am) fighting to elect members of Congress and a President who will cut spending immediately before over-spending causes a catastrophic crash of the Dollar.”

Ron Paul will make us forget that other Ron back in the 1980's.  I'm glad to see many of the Torch fancying him instead of ignoring him like the media always has, as XLFD's video shows.

I actually Love his Ron Pau'ls fiscal views. I am not thrilled about some of his foreign policy views as I don't believe we should live in a bubble waiting for the day somone who doesnt like us acts, as by then many times it is too late to respond effectivly.

This being said I can think of three fewer conflicts we should be in right this second unless some other country wants to pony up the funds to pay for them.

Actually I did ( research ) NAR + perry... In almost every instance of your own links you provided. I read of left wing or even fascists bomb throwers writing innuendo trying to imply connections to NAR but not at all providing any documentations which would show he was a member of the group you cite. The fact you post a link saying simply "video" rather than posting the link as the actual source. make me believe you also know the links are not trustworthy sources in there own right.

When I just Googled trying to find legitimate links showing any kind of justification for the assumption Perry was an NAR member on ran across the following quote. from an outfit called raw replay just for example.

“The fact that he picked them to organize this event says at least that he is comfortable with them being on the stage with him. He very literally elevated this set of individuals.”

Using that logic, why was the left wing media so okay with excepting Obama's ties with radical( real )bomb throwers like Bill Ayers or Spiritual false prophets like J. Wright?
Your video was by a well known hatchet woman R Maddow. I cant even consider her any better than an anti -christian pamphlet as she has proven over and over again to be willing to show no proof or misrepresent the facts to suit her brand of slander. unless she pulled out a card with Rick Perrys signature on it I would take everything she says from a strong anti anything religious bias.
I don't watch those shows like hers (to boring) so I don't know anything about her other than she's a talking head. couldn't tell ya if she's left or right wing.
now Patty Stanger or Tabatha Coffey, those two I know who they are.
my video label was for simplicity and lazyness, no underlying purpose, it was easier to type 'video' than go back to the other tab and copy and paste the title, nothing more nothing less, just as its easier to use 'these' marks than use the quotes key bcuz ya gotta also press the shift button, so I just use those most the time when highlighting a word than using italics or somethings that takes an extra mouse   movement and click. with me, if you question it, it is  more than likely lack of ambition over any hidden meaning regarding most things. video is good enough for a video, as i rarely watch video's as they are to long and I don't have the patience to wait through them.
and why the world of the web promotes video is an aggravation, I can read a trasncript of a 10 min video in a minute, but to sit through them is a waste. I hate all the video garbage loaded into websites these days.
Sounds like you guys need to open a Hamms and talk it out.

I think they are like Mary Matalin and James Carville, with more automobile knowledge and more hair, respectively.  And their general politics reversed.

The Hamm's are on Aquaman tonight for this Beer Summit.

Speaking of Carville, ever wonder which planet he came from............rofl.
just read the first paragraph on each of them from wikipedia, he's left, she's right, but they are married..interesting...and hamms is beer. lol
