Thank you Aquaman for keeping on me to get this done! It is in 2 parts since the whole file is too big to email. Now everyone that wants to see it can, the WHOLE report not just what Shay and Krauch wants you to see. The first one is the one that has the most impact, the second is most pictures and details of polluters.

Ok it is too big to add here but anyone that wants either the 1st part or 1 and 2 you can inbox me your email or add it here, I will send it to anyone that asks! Make up a disposable email if you want to remain anonymous.

Remember there is a whole printed copy at Tamarac Docks, 105 water st. to be viewed by anyone with interest.

This report is way too big for the COL to sweep under the rug!

Maybe the nose plug sale thing I spoke of earlier in the year may have been a good idea with all that's happening there lately, lol. Concerned Locals (Ludington) join this facebook page and the cause it is supporting which is basically the respect of the 4th ward by the COL and its council representative!

Don't forget that the LDN is also helping the City to sweep things under the rug. If it is possible they are even more guilty about ignoring the truth. They are supposed to be the eyes and ears of the community, instead they are colluding with the CIty to keep the truth from the public.

Just doing a little internet surfing and came across this jewel of info. Includes all around the bayou and surrounding!http://www.homefacts.com/environmentalhazards/brownfields/Michigan/...

Funny how Shay and Krauch and mayor do nothing et all have said their is no issue? Hmm, let the people there try to sell their property. This comes up, and why? Because the WWTP failed and dumped so much debris ans raw sewage into this bayou and never cleaned it up! Darn shame!

1.2-1.8 in upgrades planned for the 2 city marinas, painted a water tower for 1.5 million but can not support 6-8 local moms and pops just trying to make a living by cleaning up what THEY dumped on them!

Very sad!

I noticed that the City website has said that the full report available at City Hall since February 26 for viewing (provided after their inaccurate executive summary was published) as noted here.

It's quite telling that the city is wanting millions to redevelop the southern end of Stearn's Park, a natural setting that earns rave reviews from tourists and locals alike, by paving significant amount of its area, landscaping with foreign vegetation, adding lighting next to the water, and by putting pavilions, kiosks, canoe racks, signs, etc. along the lakefront.

Yet it is unwilling to develop or correct a brownfield area where businesses have managed to develop and thrive despite of the earlier allowed contamination (and recent contamination too, by the city's liability).  Where is Heather and her grant-writing pen to help alleviate a city-made disaster and assist responsible long-term Ludington business owners?

jfc123....thank for posting the link to the home facts website. Lots of very informative information. The Foundry spewed a lot of lead into the air. That cannot be a good thing!

Do you think if I send it to the COL council and mayor they would post it next to the "clean" MDEQ report? They thrive on the idea many wont care enough to act. I do though and wont stop, its time for the right things to be done!

Surprise, surprise the City is not requiring a FOIA to view the report. Why not. Every other piece of public information which is collected, processed and store at taxpayers expense requires a FOIA request form to see. Why isn't all public information available for viewing?  Why, because the City is run by a bunch of _ssholes that consider themselves overlords of a peasant population.

And when you notice their report, you find it was submitted to the city last September, five months later they have their exclusive Traverse City crony company, Otwell Mawby, prepare their own summary after the first four pages of the DEQ executive summary (for a nearly 500 page report).  This was caused by pressure from jfc123 in various outlets and my own challenges at the meetings over a month before they finally decided to make it public.  They otherwise would have definitely kept it secret, having had the report over a quarter of a year before we called them out on it.

Yes sir! And guess what I am not going away! Look at what I just found! And the COL tried to say it was no big deal?

Quoting VP Biden, "this is a big F**kin deal!"  They need a REALLY big broom for this one. The definition at the bottom......priceless! Hello legal!

Is this correct for Ludington representation? It is an election year and they need to feel the pressure of doing the right thing!
