I see that one of Mitch Foster mentors was Nate Geinzer (Assistant to the City Manager of Farmington Hills, MI).

Just a coincidence the link between Steve Brock CM of Farmington Hills, Nate Geinzer and Mitch Foster?

Somewhat ambiguous quote from Mr. Foster,"... has been a direct mentor but have both showed me what it is like to be an honest and hardworking administrator."

Would like to hear more about this relationship from Mitch.

Another good question

I'm not as interested in hearing what Mitch has to say about the relationship, rather I'd like to have heard and seen whether Steve Brock directed the council towards picking his heir apparent as a finalist for city manager at that closed session on January 10th.  But that knowledge will remain hidden from the public who weren't allowed to be there.

I would like to hear why Mitch selected an assistant CM of Farmington Hills as a mentor for honesty and work ethic rather than the actual long-time CM of that city.   I can hazard a guess after seeing Lyin' and Thievin' Steven operate.

Good point, X. What is the connection with the assistant city manager of Farmington Hills? Brock is gone and so is Shay. The city council is still responsible overall. The citizens are left with the disaster. Maybe we will survive. Maybe we won't be able to pay our debts.

In the end, the employee or elected council who uses his position to take advantage of the citizens is really no better than the minister who took advantage of the poor widow's tithe, continuing today like the minister and drove around in Mercedes while his wife wore furs and fancy clothes and the poor struggled to eat. Those people will answer to God someday. If they don't believe in God they will answer to something worse. Meanwhile they live with their conscience. If that doesn't work then they enjoy the temporary spoils. It's their judgement now and in the end..
