Pretty freaking low apparently! Found this pic posted on Facebook a short time ago and can't say I'm not a bit disgusted by it. I mean seriously, any idiot that would try and connect this young lady to being a union thug simply because she was in a union is lower then the scum under dog poo. If they had proof of her going around and say sucker punching someone or tearing down a tent with people in it or trashing a persons hot dog wagon and calling his the N word because he was a person of color then that's one thing... but I don't see that happening. Sure, she is in a union being that she's a teacher but there is a huge difference between a union worker and a union thug. If do your job and do it well and don't mind paying your union then I have no beef with you. If you opt to use violence and destroy stuff to try and make your point I will call you a union thug every time.

People have to much time on their hands, and lack empathy and common sense to use that time wisely.

Lack of empathy is one of the characteristics shared by mass murderers.

And long term politicians.

and Empathy is Civilizations greatest strength

Everything beyond the heading is appropriate, but I'm half-surprised the moron who posted this did not remind us that the shooter did not belong to any labor union.

Quite correct X, the one that posted that pic. is the Union Thug, and the teacher is the hero, guess they are jealous of her.

One feels they don't need to show empathy when the government shows it for us. And we don't even need to feel the pain of our own bad decisions that way either.

Nice of a union thug to hide behind a true hero for the cause of greed I'd say.

I think the poster was being facetious because of the recent union protest getting out of hand and the fact that folks were calling union members thugs. I think the poster is trying to tell us that not all folks who are in a union are "thugs" but most are in fact good and decent people. I think the poster is praising this poor soul for her bravery and courage.

Good point, even though I would still see it being taken as being in bad taste due to the timing of its posting, even if the poster was trying to provocatively disprove someone's point.

The person that posted it originally is from Wisconsin who of course had their own union related issues. The thing that disgusted me most was the timing of the pic.. only a few days after a tragedy and trying to play politics with it just don't sit well with me. Also though that I think most people that don't support unions don't have an issue with those people that do as long as those people are respectful. A person that uses violence and destroys property and uses speech that is unsuitable I will call a thug every day.

Like I said, I don't think the posters intention was to be mean, they just left out a few important words that would have made a difference in how people perceived the message. Just like forum posters, sometimes it's hard to determine if someone is joking or serious because we can't hear the words spoken and we sometimes misinterpret the posters attitude and meaning. Just disregard the heading and you will see the real meaning of the message below her photo.
