XLFD: Banned From Ludington City Hall!

Today my partner in mudrakery, Eve Alone, gets a phone call from Sergeant Schultz (insert your own Hogan's Heroes ironic reference here) of the Ludington Police Department.  She passes me the phone.  It seems he was trying to serve me something about trespassing that he couldn't elaborate on, but he arranged a place to meet so he could give it to me.  I was with a group of folks in my vehicle so I went to the site with a sense of curiosity and wonderment, and several potential witnesses.

When I got there he was still reticent about explaining what it was about ,saying the papers explained it, and politely handed me the following: 

Included was a similar notice for 201 N. Washington, the address I recently requested paperwork for because of certain ethical questions (some of those are discussed in the Development of Authority: Part 5).

We all found it rather ridiculous as we discussed it over dinner.  The only thing I have done is put out the public records that would seem to show that two affianced members of the DDA may have violated some rules.  Ms. Venzke or Mr. Tykoski have apparently taken it otherwise, without explanation of their own actions or what I have done to "make them concerned".

I suppose if the corrupt Pentwater politicos can fire Bear Millard from the Pentwater Fire Department for putting up embarassing information about the misuse of public property, these guys figure they can keep me from going to the City Hall and the Police Department for putting up material that shows how the sausage is being made here in Ludington. 

Let's see, now I can't go to City Hall to inspect and scan records for an FOIA request.  Now I cannot go to a City Hall Meeting and talk, in clear violation of the Open Meetings Act, section 3(6):  "A person shall not be excluded from a meeting otherwise open to the public except for a breach of the peace actually committed at the meeting."

I think so.. being as now city hall is quickly approaching prosecutable intimidation. Id sure hate something they find to be amusing get caught up in the courts you know.

I would def be calling some news agencies and "call-out" the good 'ol boys.  This is a bunch of crap.  Why would they put no tresspass aganist you for the lovebirds new house?  Just because you requested info on them? HA!! so maybe we should all put in these no tresspass orders against them?

Definitely newsworthy, Angel, but I would rather not have my city sullied in the media by the irrational actions of its appointed officials.

Besides, restricting my access to City Hall and the LPD is a rather small part of the whole picture of what our Ludington government has done badly lately.  Catch the Watertowergate threads and pt. 1-5 of the Development of Authority series for further reading for more problems, and then go back in the archives if you're still not sickened.

Quite right guys and gals, it's called sorting out the undesirables, get your nose in too deep into the local politico's business, hey, you just gotta go, banned. I kinda doubt Shay consulted with the CA on this particular petty action, and if he did, they've barked up an unusually dormant tree of knowledge that bespeaks of " serious coverup". Shay had to change all the "rules and regulations of FOIA requests for the City of Ludington" recently, just why? Some serious nerves got upset with hit and miss investigating? Yeah, if any true news reporter with any tendencies towards getting "front page news flashes on his resume", they should be standing in line to take this to press. Will the LDN participate? I truly doubt it, at least as far as their history of late so obviously proves. But there are other news sources close by, Muskegon, GR, TC, just to name a few, but do any of them have what it takes? Time will tell I do suppose.

Although, on the bright side, there are a lot better places to be than Ludington City Hall or the Soup.

OMG!!! What a joke, that whole place is loaded up with video from the moment you pull in the driveway. If he actually did anything other than get to close to there naughty behavior I am sure the police would be involved, not some form letter that any secretary can type up.

 

Now it is forbidden to go there and request FOIA? ha ha! HA! Even the police officer was EMBARRASSED to give you this letter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

I am so glad I don't live in that corrupt town but now I better start paying attention to what is going on in this town..........oh, not much.  lol thank goodness

Well unless they are wrong and all the info you have is not all that you think it is, then you could look like a real fool on the news.

The only fool I see here is the one who finally took the advice of an admin and figured out there was no such thing as an IP ban at the local NING sire level only at the corporate NING level and if he gets banned there he will never get back into a NING site no matter who runs it. 

All you had to do was play nice and post a link for your blather and there would be no issue. But ehh why should I expect more from an adolescent.
