Are the various locations described in the PM Bayou?  Could you provide a map of the testing sites?  It's looking pretty contaminated wherever it is.

Yes, it truly and reliably appears there is quite a bit of contamination in the Bayou and PM Lake. Thanks for the update and scientific probe jfc, we need to see all that you can legally reveal on this most important and critical situation in PM Lake now at long last. This situation has festered on long beyond being patient and understanding of the COL's ignorance and unapologetic lack of actions for 8 years on this matter.

Yes Xfld this is the pm bayou. the initial inspection was on April 16, 2015 and included Shay and the DEQ inspection team. May 18-20 was when the sampling was done and included 5 separate soil boring locations and 22 separate sediment coring locations. The report includes many pictures and due to the washout in 2008 you can see where the sediment is massed at the east end of the bayou and the flow of water currently from the drain is directed toward the south side of the bayou along the coast of the private homeowners, Tamarac, and Lunde Boat co. then spreads outward. This is also reinforced by statements in the report that support this. COL, Shay, etc has had this report and is sitting on it with no response. The final sign off on the report was Sept. 21, 2015. Further proof is seen if you take a ride to the area and look into the water, it is full of nothing but weeds, specially if you look from the docks directly behind Tamarac. COL is trying to turn it into swampland to pick it up for pennies on the dollar. Not gonna happen! Not sure what would be too much to reveal Aquaman this report is printed and in a binder ready for attorney review!

jfc123,

Do you have the full report scanned and on a .pdf file, and if you do are you willing to share it?  I don't want to take any of your thunder away, but I would like to provide the report to Ludington citizens and others who may have an interest in it.  Or are you going to make me do a FOIA to the COL for it, LOL (Laughing Out Ludington).

The city didn't comment at all on the issue at their last council meeting earlier tonight, surprise, nor have I found the document on their website.

You would need to FOIA the DEQ not COL, lol. But yes I do and it is a bit big to send as one file in an email. But yes I would be willing to send it to you. Why would I not want this to be so out there that it is printed in the paper? We want to have a business that we can either run or sell, not watch others run businesses there. If you want to inbox me a email I can piece it up or if your site allows send it through here. It is shocking! Fingers are pointed!

Depending on the resolution of your scans, we could probably break up the report into sections and present them as a series of .pdfs.

I will send you a friend request with my current E-mail address.

Guess she is on vacation, will send when she gets back probably next week. Merry Christmas Torchers, hope your holidays are filled with nothing but fond memories!

This state is a tough place to try to run an honest small business! There is no help anywhere when a local government and the high dollar people that want your property for pennies on the dollar!
