On a different note for the day... does anyone see anything good in the Senate or House bills that can actually serve the purpose it is intended to do?
The whole purpose of the overhaul of the current system was the old status Quo one was completely broken. On this note is there any redeeming qualities I should look forward to after this passes and does not get repealed before the 4 years it takes to actually have an immediate benefit?

It'd definitely have a positive effect on the people who will be employed in the new layers of bureaucracy. Also, it should be very helpful for those who currently find it a little difficult to defraud the system. Hate to see those guys work so hard at it.
Ok I guess I did ask?? LOL I do agree the extra layers of bureaucracy will in fact make fraud much more likely a problem not addressed at all that I can tell, in either incarnation of the bill congress gets to reconcile without even a full on record vote for.
I was listening to the radio tonight on the way home from Muskegon and someone mentioned that if they were just getting to the point where they were going to make the initial vote in the Senate that they wouldn't even be able to pass it now with Brown's election... another common sense reason why I think this bill is a bad idea.
Did someone say REPEAL, before it even takes effect?? Yup, that's forward thinking that not even the Dems. get right now. Just keep wasting taxpayers time, before ya know it, it'll be 2011, then 12, and they'll still be at it.
I'm going to be busy this weekend trying to overwhelm impressionable congressmen with the truth about this health care junk legislation. Let's bring it down.
