Signs of Ludington Marina Corruption

Kudos to an anonymous member of the Ludington Pitchfork, our sister site on Facebook, who noticed that a crop of new signs has popped up along the perimeters of our public marinas with a simple message:  NO FISHING.  These are relatively new signs with one of the members relating that they saw marina personnel putting them up around a week ago.  In the picture below, we see four of these signs, one in…See More

Sheriff Cole's New Message on the Southern Border

Our little town of Ludington made the national news again, but it wasn't any kind of feel-good story unless you're on the side of pointless resistance against the forces of law and order.  Ryan Louis Mosqueda, whose official address is just outside the Ludington city limits in PM Township, reportedly ambushed and opened fire on border patrol agents and other law enforcement in McAllen, Texas, injuring at least one in the process, and getting killed for the effort.  Mosqueda, 27, has a deep…See More

Fraternal Order of Eagles July 8, 2025

Appreciating the patriotic pride of the local FOE who have placed a giant flag on their exterior, even covering a window, and leaving it up even after the city's celebration of Independence Day, in an apparent nod to the 250th year commemoration.

Louise, in the upper right corner of the main page you will see your name and an "inbox (1 new)" link under it.  Click on that and you'll see a message from me.  Click on that, and then reply in that same space.  This will be private messaging between you and me.  I will use my resources to try and verify your claims; our sheriff's office is remarkably cloaked in secrecy (more so than the COL) since KIm Cole assumed the position of sheriff.

Ive heard that a local corrections officer got fired for sleeping with an inmate while on duty and another got fired for falsifying his time card, also A deputy Sargent recently got demoted. What is going on at our local sheriffs office and why is none of this being reported?

I'm curious about something and have not been able to find an answer. I'm hoping you may know the answer. Is it 'usual practice' to use a person's full name in the body of an op-ed?
