That is a beautiful picture! Looks cold there though...
For comparison of "my territory" here is a picture I took last January. We had gotten some snow in the higher elevations. These are the Organ Mountains. My Shepherd isn't in the picture though.

That is one beautiful pic too Max. The dark upper and lower backgrounds, with a highlight of sun in middle, just awesome! You're so lucky, but we are too on Lk. Michigan, as you already know. Any more folk art like the Roadrunner Junk pic? That was awesome too.

I don't have any new junk pictures yet. Where I have to ride is through a pass through those very mountains, and we are in the middle of a winter storm right now. We got a few snowflakes, but nothing has stuck. But the real problem is the high winds we are enduring right now.

Beautiful, yes.
Wouldn't look all that beautiful if we had a lot of rusted chain-link fencing and "Dog Park Rules" signs in the area, now would it?

*Actually* X, I was thinking how dangerous it would be for that pooch to take off across that land. It would be so easy to get lost! Yep definitely needs a fence. LOL

That is a beautiful picture [both] but the dog adds real life to the landscape and it's funny that how the way the dog is looking really emphasizes the dogs presence. I've got to say that the fence company who installed the fence at the dog park did a first rate job on the installation.

It depends on how cheap or pricey you want to get Dis.. but any program that supports layering should be able to do that easy.... Its the artistry and steady hands that allow it to blend so natural.

Ididn't get a chance to go down to the dog park area to see it. I didn't brink my pooch back on my resent visit. I was hopping it wasn't tacky looking.
That being said I understand those who wanted the dog park. The issues really isn't the dog park in the case of the site owners stance JMO. Its the fact the city changes its rules depending on who it is dealing with for assignments bids and rules in general.
Thank you for those who commented on its aesthetics!! I was hoping they did a good job at least.

Thank you RJ... I usually do not take the time to look at all the pictures in here, but those of you who take them do a great job!!! The comments I see in the picture section already state this but yes... This is a small park in Doggy standards.

Given the size of Cartier Park overall, the dog park part is insignificant at best. It does have a partitioned area for smaller dogs too. Fisher Fence did the chainlink work, and have been in business a long time in Ludington. Fine workmanship and family, Mike took over for his dad Dave, whom was also acquainted with my dad for many years, businesswise and at the American Legion Post.
