A couple supremes may just sit State of the union address out/Is Obama really moving to center?

I mentioned this way back last year as a possibility of further almost childish digs President Obama liked to make such as informing us that cops made wrong decisions without all the facts leading to the Beer summit and such.

Thanks to his off the hip speech last year it would seem the Supreme's ( or at least a couple of them) may just sit out the State of Union speech.

In a climate where it seems appearance is going to be everything, and Republicans and Democrats are planning the Speech to be ( Date Night). I would think President O may just want to reach out to the Supremes he dissed in his speech last year. I mean after all, they are supposedly on the bench for there long long list of following constitutional law as this is their only reason to take up a case is it not?

To me things like this are reasons I know that even though the president appears in words of the main stream press to be moderating. I think anyone following his actions behind the curtain can come up with a completely different covert tail of his intent..For instance.

If you were truly believing your line about small businesses being the heart of the economy, and that anything you do should be geared tword those coming back and being competitive. Why hired a gun( G.E. CEO Emmelt) that happens to work for one of the largest monopolies in the world? This man alone has sent more U.S high tech jobs than all the retail companies combined. The last we heard from pres O he was at war with the Chamber of commerce. The largest representative of true small businesses?

WE already hear prior to his speech, that we will get a liberal ( pardon the pun) dose of language like investment, and possibly infrastructure. Do those sound like words of a person who got the message of the voters begging for no more borrowing?

Do my words sound like one of angst tword the man previously known as the most powerful man in the free world?? Damn straight they are, as he is every rapidly squandering the evidence that America is anything other than a now left leaning country and not one of greatness due to its unique wealth generation scheme called capitalism. But hey... We don't teach that in schools anymore, ask your kids they will tell you.

No I do not think he is going to move to the center.  His speech will as most of them in the past was.
He is incapable of moving toward the center because he would have to abandon his life long philosophy. He is a liar and will say anything to get his way. I can't see anyone, except the foolish, who will believe a word he says.
I can't say I blame for the justices watching the speech from home. What Obama did last year was uncalled for and disrespectful.
But Dave people on the left can disrespect people and that is ok.
Right JB, and be condescending along with it, and it's still okey dokey. Center, Mr. O? He's been eluding in talk to this of recent, but remember he also said the rest have to ride in the back seat too. No doubt he'll be talking out of one side of his mouth tonight, then another one tomorrow, as per the usual trick artist stunt.

Looks like Thomas, Alito, and Scalia sat this one out.  They're lucky, it looks like another soul-less presentation by our 44th white president.

Sounds as if he will veto any bill that has earmarks on it.  Yeah, and I'm a chinese jet pilot.

Everyone forgets Obama is a great speaker.   A lot listen to him and think the sun rises and sits in his rear.
Ok, I did watch the SOU address tonight, with high hopes of real change, change we can believe in and support, not as a party, but as a people. And I found the speech of 62 minutes flat and unconvincing. Moreover, I see the sameo promises that are for the future, 3,5,10, & even 25 years into the future, not addressing the PRESENT Malady of events and circumstances that we need to have addressed RIGHT NOW! IMMEDIATELY. I will give credit where due, that he has the uncanny and steadfast ability to strum the heartstrings of the masses in the last 10 minutes, as per the usual politico, but that does NOT impress me with what we can expect over the next year from our elected leader, sadly. Too many Americans can't afford to wait for these big improvements years into the future. I also refer to one of the Stooges set up in the audience that is going into Bio Technology in college, at the age of 55 now. When she does get her degree, if in fact she does, how much time is left for her to apprentice and make the high salaries she expects after graduation? Two or three tops? This is NOT what is progress imho, it's total regress, and denial of our current situations here at home.
