The fact that it started at a sports event is somewhat surprising though. Disrespecting by not standing for the National Anthem spread throughtout the NFL over the weekend. An action first taken by  Kaepernick the NFL quarterback last year. Trump felt it necessary to comment on the protest last weekend when over 200 players refused to stand for the pledge. Tonight I went to a car cruise in [for old cars ] out of state. Typical old 60-70's music plying by a DJ. Then he starts playing our national anthem . Everyone stopped, turned to where the DJ was, [I didn't see a flag } and stood at attention  , hats removed, hand over their heart and cheered when it was over, Very impressive. One other thing was, I don't know if the cheering was because they were happy to be U.S. citizens or because the singing was over. The woman that sang was just terrible.

The NFL has strict player codes via contract, for their private sector employees that include conduct, dress, and verbage, both on and off the field. Apparently, they also now need to include our National Anthem conduct on the field. Has nothing to do with Constitutional rights or religious beliefs either, it has to do with showing respect as expected by a U.S. citizen in a public arena for our old glory and National symbol, not rocket science, which the liberals and Marxist types want to confuse this situation with, as per the usual convoluted mindset. LBJ, a U.S. President in the 1960's said of snakes that attack with fangs as you step by it: "there is only one thing you can do to a snake, and that is to stomp on and shoot that snake immediately", paraphrasing the liberal democrat of long ago. I would never do anything to harm the President or any members of this forum. i don't know and don't care who you are. You may be shocked, shocked to know that iconic liberal President LBJ used the SOB term quite often to refer to people, without intentionally second-handedly calling their mothers a female dog (see this link to Joe Califano's LBJ book).  

But he wasn't alone, this linknotes that:   President Harry S. Truman was quoted as calling General MacArthur a "dumb son of a b$%^h."  John F. Kennedy used the same term to refer to Canadian Prime Minister John Diefenbaker. And even though John F. Kennedy grew up as a wealthy child of privilege, his time in the Navy taught him how to swear like a sailor — at least, a little bit.  In April of 1962, President Kennedy became infuriated when the President of U.S. Steel announced major price increases.   Kennedy told a reporter, "My father always told me that all businessmen were sons of b*&^hes, but I never believed it ‘til now."

I could only find the use of SOB being used by Democratic presidents before now.  Even in those times where swearing was much more socially discouraged, these SOB references never were seen by the media or pundits as disparaging to the mothers of businessmen, Canadian PMs, respected generals, et.al. or a disrespect to women.  It should also be noted that no kneeling NFL player has been of the fairer sex, so it could be said that any 'disrespect' he has shown was not directed at women.

What is the penalty for treason? 

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

The word is that Mueller will soon be indicting trump as well as others in his administration for treason, obstruction, collusion, conspiracy, election tampering to just name a few. The list of crimes is long. 

Death.... Damn that could encompass a whole range of things since it not spelled out specifically. The word is a gallows is being constructed to be placed on the National Mall to swing trump and his accomplices in crime by the necks on. A public hanging. That may be one of the penalties for treason. Wow that would be quite the picture, just imagine Donald, Ivanka, Jared, Jr., Eric, Flynn, Bannon, Manafort, Page, Pence all swinging by their necks in the wind and the crows feasting on their eyes. That could happen when Mueller makes his case for treason. Or maybe a wall will be built to line up all of the treasonous SOB's in the trump hierarchy against to be shot on national tv. Not sure, but I suppose death for treason may fall under that type of execution.  or perhaps they allow drawing and quartering as a penalty for treason. When Mueller brings charges and trump is found guilty, the congress or USSC may order drawing and quartering as the penalty. Massive Brabancons might be enlisted, one chained to each limb pulling with all their might under the taskmaster's lash  until the guilty party (Trump, if Mueller gets him) is ripped into four pieces.

I suppose HBO and Showtime could sell exclusive footage with closeups and slo-mo.  Probably make hundreds of millions. heck it's trump,  it would make a billion easy. Donald would sure get the ratings he so desperately craves then. 

yes, Mueller's team of relentless investigators is putting together quite the case against the liar in chief and his of band criminal cohorts. Manafort, Bannon Kushner and Flynn are going to make Haldeman, Ehrlichman, Mitchell and Dean look like choirboys it appears.

Robert Mueller is investigating trump for crimes against the constitution as well as others. he has a dossier compiled by british intelligence of trump's russian treason activities that contains photos of trump getting pissed and shit on by russian prostitutes. I am not making this up.

Trump used his travelling flesh factory ( the miss universe pageant) to gain access to the russian oligarchs and sources of cash denied him by traditional banks.FACT, traditional banks wouldn't give him cash because he went bankrupt 6 times. drove every business he has ever run into the ground. 

Investigating, he conspired with putin to fix the election.

these are just some of the things being investigated by special prosecutor robert mueller. trump and many others may be found guilty of treason. 

i am not making things up or pulling things out of thin air. and the possibilities of what the crimes and sentences are and should be should be discussed and examined in open forums like this.

The fact is, there is a really good possibility Trump and/or members of his administration and/or family will be charged with treason for helping putin and the russians undermine and weaken our constitution.

If you were working as hard as the trumps and their administration have been working with russia and were found guilty of treason, and that is being looked at by special prosecutor robert meuller, you should get the death penalty. It is definitely an option on the table.

It becomes clearer and clearer why, when everyone in our government calls the russians our enemies, trump refuses to and calls them our friends. he is trying to establish friendship so the russians will not fall under the definition of treason as our enemies.

trump is a sneaky and slithery snake. perhaps the greatest conman to come along in the last 5o years.
