There is just not any other way to put things when talking about her and her friends. During a small press conference she was asked about C-Span's letter regarding showing the meetings coming up regarding health care on TV. At about the 7:40 mark she makes the comment that "There has never been a more open process for any piece of legislation". It's hard to not bust out laughing when she says that. It was so open that no republican input was wanted and they had meetings behind closed doors... and there is talk that some if not most of the upcoming meetings would also be behind closed doors. It's a good thing that video wasn't in 3D or else i'd been trying to dodge her nose every time it swung left or right as it continued to grow.
Anyhow, here's the video.... try not to laugh or vomit.... both would be understandable outcomes from viewing this thing:
Sorry, Dave, but Congress is at fault on both sides of the fence. Pelosi and Reid disgust me, too, but the Republicans made a paltry effort to cooperate in creating this legislation. The lack of bipartisanship here is appalling. They're all full of crap.
Whatever we end up with, members of Congress and federal employees should be included with the rest of us. That's the only way it will be for the common good. But we all know that won't happen, because billions of dollars from special interests have padded the palms of our elected officials. JMO

Oh don't worry, I totally agree....... there are plenty in Washington these days that should be ran out of town. Getting harder to find any politician that you can have any faith in from any side of the aisle.

When Steny Hoyer moves to the microphone and invokes Teddy Roosevelt's name in support of his cause, it must be noted that Teddy would never even have conceived of something so unAmerican as these two conflicting bills proposed by the Senate and House.
After his two terms of the presidency, after he lost the Republican primary and established the Bull Moose party, he advocated deep within the planks of the platform of his party a notion of a safeguard for those who were sick, suffered irregular employment, or old age adapted to American use. Those last four words are crucial.
Teddy had his heart set on trust-busting, and this legislation would create perhaps the largest monopoly we will have ever seen. Teddy was big on self-reliance, both bills would foster dependence on others.
If the politicos wish to bring Teddy's big stick into the arena, they should actually read his material and quotes to find that he would be the "Tea-bagger from Hell" if he were alive and kickin' today.
Just a friendly memo Dave, crap does have substance, and all I felt and heard and smellllllled, was Hot Air! All this fuss and muss for the last year, now we can all wait another 3 years to get implementation. I do hope these politicos can now finally get on to the nations unfinished business, while we are all still breathing. That includes a wrecked economy, the highest unemployment since the great depression, homeless, new job creation, tax breaks for new industry, crooked bankers/credit card brokers, crooked insurance czars, wars that never end, illegal immigration at our open borders, just to start. It would seem to me Teddy R. would have any of the aforementioned as higher priorities in his first year of office.

And how many times on the campaign trail and beyond did President Obama actually make the pledge of openness? How many times had he said the process would be shown on C-Span and there for the public to view in open forum, so we could see who is working for the people and against the people? What do we get, closed sessions, with no input from the so-called obstructionist minority party. Nancy and Harry have made Barack into the biggest liar since Nixon.

I'd love to see someone edit together a video of clips of Bush Sr saying "Read my lips" and then edit in Obama saying the numerous things he's said that he hasn't lived up too. If I was smart enough, i'd do it.
Give credit where credit is due Dave, you are a busy man too. Bush 1 was ex-CIA, and Bush baby, was a CIA baby. Now, comes the clever and everescent "candidate" Big O. States complete and total transparency, then this week, we find out no TV/camera coverage allowed at all of the final studies, voting on the final aspects of the bill. If it smells like a old fish, it's spoiled, and not to be digested, imho.

I think you are smart enough Dave, but you are probably like me -- just too lazy! I think that would make a great campaign ad!

I got a feeling that at some point, most likely when he goes to run for a 2nd term that a lot of the promises he made on the campaign trail the first time are going to come and bite him in the butt. I think it would be safe to say that you'll hear C-Span mentioned more then a few times then... we are already hearing it plenty now.

"max goody too shoes.thinks knows everthing. why not move to somalia, instead of NM from ludington. luv ludigton so much and so much comment on happenings here. you don;t live here anymore. good riddence.."
Numbedout you are the one who thinks they are smarter than everyone else. You are telling everyone here what they should do.
It appears that I don't think I know everything. Here I am trying to reason with the unreasonable.
This War on the American Health Care Sysetm has gone on long enough! The lone superpower, the current Democratic Party, is trying to outlast the will of the American people, and their primary goal is power. Hang tough, and just remember: we can outlast them if we can prevent this from going throguh before November. FYI, I consider myself an independetn/ left-leaner, who is totally upset with today's leaders.
