If this doesn't point out who is more into propaganda I don't know what would. The funny thing is my daughter likes to read the English version of Al zahzeera as it carries more factual information than say the CBS, NBC, or New York Newspapers do. That's a pretty damning commentary on the main stream media all by its self.

I rarely  watch mainstream media, but I am curious about how they are covering this.

I don't know why Grandholm would leave just because they now own Current however unless she doesn't like the ramifications of this move outing the network as the farce it is.

I find more imformation on some things by reading the english version of Pravda Had a very interesting opion piece on american gun control.  Pointed out how Russia had changed after gun control. It's titled America never give up your guns by Stanislav Mishbin a russian .

I see you found the very article I was refering to,Storm I found it to be an eye opener, for sure

On 4 March 2011, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton testified before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee that Al Jazeera provided more informative news coverage than the opinion-driven coverage of American mass media. Most American media outlets declined comment.

I actually see Current TV as a much greater provider of propaganda, Al Jazeera has had several critics among whom we may consider the bad guys, and have done some credible journalistic enterprises.  It will definitely take Current TV more to the right.  Here's the wiki on Al Jazeera, if you've never checked it out yourself.

It is also said that hypocritic-Al Gore sold his network before the new year, to avoid those additional taxes that he would have had to pay otherwise for capital gains.  It makes sense, but he's one of those people who recommend the rich "pay their fair share".

Everytime I even hear the name Al Gore I shudder in disgust and agony for his crony hypocrite acts of the past, and now even the present.

Something else to ponder on.... Qatar owns Al-Jazzera. Qatar is a very oil rich country. So Al Gore has now sold his network to something that would seem to go against his global warming methodology as I believe Al would prefer there not to be no oil (even though he sure seems to use a ton of it). If there was any doubt  that Al is a hypocrite, this further solidifies that fact.

Interesting videos on Qatar
